Sooner or later, you'll want to build a simple beam to increase your rf "footprint".  If you live on a small urban lot or in an area with restricted space, building a beam can be quite a task.  In this video, GW0JXM show us how to design, build, and use a simple 2 element beam for the 20 meter amateur radio band that is both easy to raise and take down while still fitting in a small space.  The video contains many helpful suggestions, including a materials list and construction tips.
