Here's another experimental antenna design from Kevin Loughin (KB9RLW).  Kevin says he got the idea from an article describing a military NVIS antenna.  Kevin states "I had the idea to rotate the design vertically and make a directional magnetic loop...it works surprisingly well for such a small antenna."  If you live in a deed-restricted home or apartment (HOAs/CC&Rs), this antenna may prove useful because of its small size and portability.
