Tall trees on your property can serve as ideal supports for your antennas, be they HF, VHF, or UHF.  The major problem with tree-supported antennas is getting all those wires and small beams into the upper regions of the tree without incurring antenna damage or lost wire.

In this video from KM6JUR, we see how a simple slingshot, fishing reel, a few sinkers/weights, and some fishing line can launch your antenna at a desirable height for DX contacts.  Of course, as this video points out, you may have to try a few times before your antenna is firmly secured in a tree.

Although there are several commercial antenna launchers available, I find a do-it-yourself approach more to my liking.  My launch system is similar to the one used in this video.  I have an old Walmart "Marksman Folding Slingshot", an old Zebco fishing reel, fishing line, and some lead weights (sinkers) in my junk box which I use to nest my antennas in the trees surrounding my home.
